By full kit do you mean Dakars in the rear? If so, I had the same thing. Once I removed the 3rd leaf, (had too much lift anyways) and installed the CBD take off shudder stopped.

    Edit..^^^^^^^

I just read your set up and see that you do have Dakars. As I stated, I removed the 3rd leaf per ARB and vibe went away. I have 885s up front with .25" spacers. Truck sits nearly level front to back (1/16th of a difference)

forgive me if this is stated already, i searched and did not find anything. I have a full set of ATO skids, Im putting an ARB and a Warn M8000 up front. I currently have 885 coils, and know that i need to upgrade to 886's, my question is should I use the top place spacer? I have read that you are not supposed to.......Why is this?

    thanks guys

They are saying that with 866 you will get full lift. Me personaly I did get the top plate.

Most people get 3" of lift with 886's alone , putting top plate spacers on may put you at more than 3" of lift which is too much for a 4x4

I like these control arms, they look good & serve their purpose but one thing just doesn't make sense to me.... the exposed uniball.

My truck see's a lot of off road, mud, sand, water, snow, salt ect..

How does that setup survive without being cleaned constantly?

Eventually, you have to replace the uniball. I would recommend going with stainless steel uniballs if your truck will see salt. Otherwise, the chromed ones can pit and dirt starts getting into everything.

They survive because the ball fits very, very tight in the socket so dirt can't get in there. If you're concerned, you might want to consider the Light Racing UCA because they use a protected ball joint.

went "wheeling" today... first time since I've had the suspension and wheels put on, wanted to see front articulation with out sway bar, and rear flex. while up on the hill i was in 4LO with the rear dif locked and A-TRAC ON (wanna be locker for the front". going up the snow covered mound was cake, no wheel spin what so ever. transfer case was my limiting factor from going all the way up to teeter totter

    heres some pictures

So I've got it down to using an Icon set up to replace the 3" procomp lift that came on my dbl cab tacoma. Question is what rear springs to get. I want to stay at the lift hight it is now and get better handling, bump absortion and better articulation if possible. Will the Dakar springs be to stiff? I don't need more load capacity. Is there a better option to get this result?
Thanks for any honest feed back.

Question I have a Dakar leaf pack and the aal... is there any specific way to place the aal in the pack direction wise, and the aal goes in between the top overload leaf and the rest of the pack correct

Can't wait to see my rear articulation with the extra travel 5100's in back, I see how the OME's are limited.

Truck looks good  you should have come out with us today

It depends on what AAL you have , my D29XL I had to install it between the 2nd and 3rd leaf from top.

    thanks,
had an alignment appointment today. Or I would have came, I'm thinking about putting longer traveling shocks in the rear, maybe with remote reservoir. ome shocks are nice, but I want bigger articulation. blah, I should just be happy with how green my grass is.:frusty:
