    Another tire rack vote...... quiet brakes, stops much better after proper bed in procedure and a few miles (read side of the box).
    Low dust imho even with the lts

    Ran same setup on a maxima with tons of mods, drove the car hard enough to break multiple trans and motor mounts, and never had brake fade.

    So I ordered my Brembos from the link I posted above. I ordered it on Weds night. It shipped Thurs and I received it Friday. Pretty damn awesome. Looks legit to me, and it's the lowest price I've seen for Brembos for the 2nd gen Tacomas.

    Came out to $101 shipped for 2 rotors.

    Had hawk and brembos on a low 11 second NA daily driver that was beat daily with no issues. At the track on the shit it was a high 9 sec car. All others warped. They use some good material for their blank rotors.

    I am just waiting for my current stock setup to get low enough to warrant replacement.

    hawk LTS and brembo blanks here..............very good metal

    I beat the snot outta my truck, and my old maxima with 10K in mods and lets say I KNOW it had no governor.....brakes never faded at the track, and the dusting wasnt bad either.

    check into SS lines too

    Also Tirerack had a sale on the Brembo Rotors for $76...buying the pads and two rotors was shipped to my door for $250...which wasnt bad considering toyota was going to be a bit more.

    HB490Y.665 Disc Brake Pad; LTS w/0.665 Thickness; w/5.3 in. Brake Pad;
    HB490Z.665 Disc Brake Pad; Performance Ceramic w/0.665 Thickness; w/5.3 in. Brake pad

    LTS will have better initial bite AFTER BED IN.....
    I havent noticed dust from the LTS either.
    They are quiet.


    I see no reason to use ceramic other than dusting....and like I said above, I cant even tell a difference from ceramic to LTS in terms of dust.

    Read the side of the box, or the instructions on hawks webpage.

    Basically braking from a certain speed down to a certain speed, letting brakes cool, repeating iirc.

    Again, refer to the box or the instructions on hawks webpage...I think its under the FAQ.

    yea good deal imo, everything off Amazon, 2 brembo rotors and set of pads for about 160 shipped, I was just at the dealer yesterday, they wanted i think 140 for just the oem pads, and 330 total to have them installed and rotors resurfaced
