Had a rough time of it on my last wheeling trip and now the driver side tire is pushed back towards the rear of the wheel well. Having Yokem Toyota in Shreveport go through and tell me what needs fixing. I know my LCA is banged up pretty bad, and maybe some other stuff, but I'm fairly sure my frame's not bent.

Good news is my frame is 100% rust free. Go figure. Outlasted all the recalls.

Shitty man :/ well i wish you best of luck!

I decided i'm not even going to waist my time with a 3" lift that i will never be happy with. I've been looking a lot in SAS and 5-6" leafs, and i love the look and the size. But i Don't even know where to begin haha

    Maybe here? http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/index.php/toyota-tacoma-sas-solid-axle-swap-kit-c.html

I don't however know if that includes everything i will need or not, so my question is with that kit what else would i need? Understand of course that i leave for basic and AIT trainging next month, 9 weeks basic, 12 weeks AIT so this project wouldnt start fount a while after that!

I also looked at the 6" lift kits, but to have to cut all that stuff off and go through all the work and have terrible clearance? I'm just going SAS. Any input would be very welcomed.

    ooohhhhh bright!

95-97 taco brothers! I have ordered my DIY bumper and it should be shipped by Tuesday!

The light hoops cost extra, so i left them out and i am going to fab up my own that look very similar to the ones in the pic, but match out grilles better. Which reminds me, if im getting a black bumper I need to paint the grille black and elimunate the chrome. My wheels are plasti dipped and are holding up great, should I just dip the grille or actually paint it? Would I have to sand off the chrome and prime it and paint it? That the process? Also should I spray paint my bumper like my sliders or rhino line it? I would use the canned spray on rhino liner if i went that route, any opinions?

    The bumper:

I belinered my rear stock bumper and love the looks, plus its durable as all hell if you use self etching primer!

I guess its just personal preference, but IMO if you are using plasti-derp it will stick to any surface so if you're just wanting to see if you like it then spray it with plasti-dip and if you like it then decide from there. Plasti-Dip holds up really well even if you dont sand or prime, i sprayed my wheels without even cleaning them and they've been like that for a few months. Rocks, mud and sand havn't hurt them yet.

I would plasti dip the grill and the bumper, if you like it, use primer and paint then clear on the grille and I can't say about the front bumper :p

Well there is no way i would plasti dip a plate bumper lol. It's going to take too much abuse for that. If i bed line it and I nick it up can i just spray more bed liner over it and cover it like spray paint?
