My dad had a modified 172, Zero 8 Lima, for a long time, and liked it, but wanted somthing with more payload, and speed. Only reason he sold it was because it became too expensive to keep it parked at the airport.

I hate to correct a mod; but how is all this plane talk helping to get this sticker off? Unless you are suggesting the OP covers the sticker in av gas and lights it on fire. That would get the sticker off. Might even fix the tailgate problem too.

There is way to many pages in this thread to read the whole thing:eek:

And I am calling BS on that. Aren't our trucks powder paint coated anyway?

I have a vinyl repair heat gun that can put out something like 1500 degrees. I set it at about 800 and was able to remove some stickers from a trailer no problem. There is no way a hair dryer could bubble the paint unless the operator was so retarded that he had to work at it to make the paint bubble on purpose.

Was there even any photo's provided? If not then this is a troll/Whippersnapper?

What is "powder paint coated"? Is it like powder coating? As far as I have seen the Tacomas are just shot with paint like all the other trucks out there. Nothing is powder coated on them. As for the paint bubbling; I think on one of the pages you didn't read it was mentioned that the tailgate paint doesn't look factory.

When linking to thread through my email i skip the first page so i never noticed the crappy photoshopped photo on there now.

Maybe I was thinking how they use electrostatic to make the paint stick? But they still put in an oven to cure after.

Regardless of anything I do not retract my statement about this is either troll or whippersnapper.

    chris should lock it

This is obviously a troll. The pics on page 1 are photo shopped. To get a sticker off use goof off. Op- get a gay unicorn off you probably need to give it a good jerk or blow on it.

Chris has been very helpful in trying to resolve the problem, why would he lock it? What if he/you/or I have the same problem one day? Wouldn't you want to be able to refer back to this thread on how to remove stubborn stickers?

You mean once we help the OP solve this we can refer back to this thread to for help at a later date?

Maybe we should make this a sticky? Old stickers are pretty common and unsightly. What do you think Chris?

    Definitely a sticky!

You know, the way people put stickers on their vehicles these days, this could be quite a big problem that people are scared to bring up because they don't want anyone to know they have a unicorn sticker on their vehicle. Look at the ridiculing that Brian has faced.
