Sounds good! What made you choose the 2525 over say the 3030 or 5050? Just wondering what the difference is?!

I did this yesterday but didn't get pics up until today. Thought I would share my success with the help a another member around my area (alexrosado) we hooked up new halo headlights, did a quick horn relocation, and painted behind the grill. I think it had a great outcome and am really happy how good it looks.

    It went from this

And here is how she sits as of now.

Yeah from what I read it doesn't do any harm, there are people out there that will bash me for doing this but its ok, I did what I thought would look good and it doesn't effect it too much... just make really light sprays

*I used high temp BBQ spray paint.

I would think it would have some sort of negative effect on the radiator but hell I've seen a lot of guys on here do it and it looks great! Should make my satoshi "pop" I need to do this ASAP

    .
I would never do that because adding paint on the fins changes the characteristics of the radiator's ability to cool the engine. That being said though, I don't seem to recall anyone here having any problems with painted radiators.

My thought would be if you glob it on you could close off some fins but as previous poster said no one has had an issue yet nice job

The thing he painted was his air conditioning condenser, the radiator is behind it. Shouldn't make much of a difference in heat transfer, or people wouldn't paint their valve covers, engine blocks, etc.

I realize that he painted the condensor. That is why I said that globs could close off fins. The air must pass thru the condensor to get to the radiator if the condensor fins are closed then the air will not pass thru to the rad
