How do I run the wires(switch) into the cab on one of the okledlightbar bars? I've fit single wires through the firewall before but never something as big as what came on the wiring harness I have with this bar

I used a bendable metal wire to pull it through. Push the metal wire through the engine bay firewall, pull it through on the inside enough to attach the wire, wrap the wire around the metal wire, hooked the metal wire so the wire would stay attached and pull it through. It might take a couple tries, but it is possible.

Thats how I do it too but there is no way that entire switch was gonna fit through there. I ended up cutting the stock switch off since ill be using a custom one anyways.

    Thanks.

Oh, okay. I thought you meant just the wire. Yeah, I would cut it too.

are you talking about the the behind the grill mount or does BAMF make another mount? i think i read somewhere in one of the behind the grill gb threads that it would support up to 20" but the Blitzpro light is 21" and it fits. i'm trying to figure out if you could get a 22" in there but i'm sure a 30" won't fit.

Debadged, took off front mud flaps, prevent tailgate theft mod, Magnaflow 18" muffler, Bilstein 5100s front and rear w/ front @1.75, wet okoles, plasi dipped front emblem, weathertechs, scangauge, toolbox, Bed pocket lights, BHLM, T1 eyelids, BAMF sliders, Bruteforce Fab rear bumper
You are right. My 20" fits and I think up to a 22" could work, but no way on the 30".

I was just wondering what happens when the LEDs start to burn out? I need to research some more but what's the warranty on the light bars from ridgid or okleds or any of those guys? The one thing I am not find of is that bar is one housing of a continuous strip of lights. If you get some that go bad, will they replace it? With the Titan series you are able to get replacement pods if one were to fail after the warranty was up. Our LEDs have a 5year warranty. But IMHO ( not cause I'm a dealer) I like the ability to replace a "bulb" and not the whole fixture. If anyone looked at the link I posted prior that is a 4 LED ( Titan 100 ) and 8 LED ( Titan 200 ) with 20 deg optics. There are 35 deg optics available and you can mix and match different optics for every 4 LEDs ( 1 pod ). And they are stupid bright for as small as they are.

Modern LED's have a lifetime of 25,000 to 50,000 hours. That rating is not "burned out". It is based on a lumen depreciation (loss of brightness) of 30%.

So after 50,000 hours (5.7 years) of being ON, the bulb will have 70% of it's original brightness.

It is far more likely that another component of the light will fail before the LED burns out.

Edit: Also, IIRC, rigid has a lifetime warranty.

You would probably have to ask the guy making them... I think they were just making them for personal use.

    I agree^.

Can't wait to get more light output in front. I'm thinking duallies in the fog holes? With an amber filter. My fog holes are empty!
