All that I'm saying is do your homework on the paint before you do it. I did because what I read it has little to no effect on performance. I could have just painted the side walls to the condenser but I liked it all black and in my mind its no difference, its just black instead of a light grey.

Not like your taking a paint brush to it... its just a light spray from a can. If my truck blows up I'll be sure to let everyone know. Like its been stated before, everyone that has done it has come back with very few negatives. It works for me and thanks for the discussion over the topic.

If you plan on doing this to your ride and not 100% sure on what your doing you can PM me be happy to help.

The 2525 means 2.5" inlet piping and 2.5" outlet piping. 3030 means 3.0", and so on.

    .
I agree. That's why I stated to the inquiry that I was unaware of any reported problems with painting the radiator. I still wouldn't do it though, those fins are not meant to be painted and they shouldn't. If one were to actually scan for temp changes it stands to reason that it should have an effect, if not at least a small one.

Many vehicles come factory with painted radiators. My wife's Acura has a factory black painted radiator. You can also buy different thermostats that open at different temperatures.

It works the same way as an intercooler does. There are a lot of different opinions on painting intercoolers as well. I imagine it wouldn't be that big of a deal. Why do you want to paint it? I "dusted" mine with some paint to darken it up a little bit when I put on my homer grill....

It's ok by me! Paint away!

Metal valve caps offer higher performance than the plastic/rubber variety.

3/4's done with my OME install. Not too bad. Everyone warned about the rear leaf pack, but it went in really easy, disconnected both sides the jacked the axle. UCA bolts do suck, one down one to go. Just waiting on my help to come back this evening to finish the drivers side. I did screw one thing up, forgot to do measurements when we started this morning, now I'll never know the true amount of lift :(

    Pics tomorrow hopefully
