Gian picked up his tires today and said he might be in for a Puerco run. He was going to check in here later today for details.

Yo Primetime, give Pigger a call. He needs to get in touch with you about tomorrow but doesn't have your digits.

No problem, man. There are bypasses to just about everything gnarly out there... and do you have a rachet strap for the spare? If not, I've got an extra one you can borrow...

Well, it sounds like everyone is ok with 9am, so I'd like to leave around 8:15 so we can top off the ol gas tank and maybe get some snacks:D on the west side..
It's been raining on and off.... I think it's supposed to be kinda wet tomorrow as well. :notsure: We'll have plenty of recovery equipmentut there...
    :woot:

Filled up the tank in prep for tomorrow's run. Accounting for the change in diameter from stock, I got 18.1 mpg.

I will say, with being behind on the gears, I don't try to rabbit off the line like I used to. Starting to feel more like Farmer Tom as opposed to Racer Tom.

I've got two ratchet straps on it now. I'm all OCD and don't like it banging on the bed. I think I'm going to drill into the bed and install that Fabtech spare tire holder. A lot cheaper than a Tiregate and I'd still be ably to use my tonneau cover. Or maybe I'll bolt some d-rings into the corners of the bed and strap it in gooderer.

I'll be at your place at 8:15.

Thanks for the props. Nice meeting you.

Did you leave that rubber gasket on? The one between the hood and the grill?

I'm curious now, I must be missing it.

Do you guys have a rubber weather stripping between your hood and the grill on your first gens? This could explain why my hood likes to "bounce" on the freeway. Let me know.

The new tires and lift made things so much easier. Found out where the 285s are rubbing though. I just need to cut the fenders where the mud isn't. ;)
