lol...true true. gay couples hold religious, non-legal ceremonies every weekend just to have it in the church's eyes and in theirown.

Did you take that definition out of the dictionary that was written before the Bible, or...?

Obviously you don't understand anything of what i say, on this thread or others for that matter. And I can't make drawings for you. So as far as you're concerned, i'll just drop it.

I realize now you're bias to the subject and i see why, i thought i sensed some defensive tone. No harm intended, i'm not gonna sit here and make enemies for no fucking reason. At the end of the day you keep your ideeas and i keep mine.

As for my spelling, i wouldn't worry about it if i were you, it's not like i was talking to Einstein.

"exclusive rights" comes from Historical, Secular, Biblical, Legal and common usage and understanding of the term as the "marriage" of a man and a woman, generally with the intent to try to consummate the marriage by producing offspring, co-habitating and sharing life together. That's where the exlcusive right to apply the term to the union of man and woman comes from.

Latest news from the goofy state.....the Gay lobby last night said that "the voters in Calif are not capable of making the right decision on this issue and it should simply be legislated by their elected representatives." Say what?!?!?!? Proponents of Prop 8 have said that if the court overturns the people's vote, they will petition for a referendum next year to define "marraige" as being between and man and a woman. Interesting that in every state I have lived in (5) referendums and Propositions were the mechnism to resolve sticky issues by going directly to the voter for thier opinion. In Calif, you may see the courts and the legislature saying "piss off" to their residents!!!!!!! The world is being turned upside down.....

SAN FRANCISCO -- The California Supreme Court will rule Tuesday on the validity of a voter-approved ban on same-sex marriage, a decision that will end months of speculation over whether gay couples can resume marrying in the state.
The high court announced the pending opinion on its Web site Friday morning.
Justices are considering a series of lawsuits seeking to overturn a constitutional amendment approved by voters in November that overruled a 4-3 court decision that briefly legalized same-sex unions. The suits claim Proposition 8 was put on the ballot improperly.

Wow, that was fast! Interesting, and very enlightening ruling: In effect the Calif Supreme Court said that what the people vote on DOES MATTER. God Bless America and God Bless Majority Vote and Glod Bless The Power of THE VOICE OF THE PEOPLE! The gays in SF I am sure are going nuts. :)

SAN FRANCISCO – The California Supreme Court upheld a voter-approved ban on same-sex marriage Tuesday, but it also decided that the estimated 18,000 gay couples who tied the knot before the law took effect will stay wed.
The 6-1 decision written by Chief Justice Ron George rejected an argument by gay rights activists that the ban revised the California constitution's equal protection clause to such a dramatic degree that it first needed the Legislature's approval.
The court said the people have a right, through the ballot box, to change their constitution.
"In a sense, petitioners' and the attorney general's complaint is that it is just too easy to amend the California constitution through the initiative process. But it is not a proper function of this court to curtail that process; we are constitutionally bound to uphold it," the ruling said.

I generally try to avoid discussions with religious people. Rationality and faith rarely mix well and I always feel like I'm talking at the person rather than with them.

Anyway, let's all get back to the pile!
