What would be a good lift for the first gen guys. Something small like only 2inches. I'm thinking billes all around, and setting up front at 1.85 I think. And leaf pack for the rear. 31/10.50/15 duratracs c range. I think that's a good lift right? Something small so I don't have to change ucas or anything like that. I see everyone getting duratracs and I have to get them now.

My friend has one down out cape house. In the winter when we go to drink and stuff we use those. Let me tell you, those things rock. Really throw heat out. My freaking bald head heats up quick and I have to walk away haha

Go with the OME lift again if you liked it the first time. As far as the Duratracs, they're a good tire but I wouldn't bother with them if I drove a lot of highway miles.

I thought the Eibachs gave you 3" on a first gen?

I would go with ome but ome only presets at 3inches with the first gen. I only want 2 lol. I don't wanna be changing stuff like ucas and all this stuff.

I won't be driving as much. I'm so use to going everywhere to see friends and family and cape house and stuff and I'm done lol. If people wanna see me, they have to come to my house now haha.

Do your research, just like 2nd Gens, there are varying lifts depending on which OME coil you use with the 1st Gens. 883's I believe give you 3" of lift. I'm pretty sure you can go with a different coil for a lower lift.

Your correct. Ome and eibach both give 3inches. Only the billes and over prices coliovers give you any lift from o to 3

I looked. Toyteclifts said that both coils give preset of 3inches.

Check again... There are more than 2 options. 880's say they give 1", then there are 882 and 883. The 883's seem like they are the equivilent of the 886's for the 2nd Gen.

Also, Toytec is not always accurate with their lift heights. Check out the 1st Gen section of TW to see what people are really getting with different coils.

Well thanks for the infor. I looked at so many threads that my brain has gone empty lol. I will have to look again. Something small with nice tires will do me good. Don't think I could go 3inches again.

    Is it making noise?

It's just a rubber bushing. Maybe a new pressed in bushing is in order?
