This is just like all the damn LED bars going around. There's like 3 or 4 companies selling them under their name but the light bars are all identical.

Because all of toytec's machining is done right here in denver by toytec.

and just because TG copied Marlin however many years ago doesn't make it any less of a copy.

So you're saying we should be giving all the credit to the NHL? Don't tell them that or we'll have another strike on our hands as they'll want more money!

I did not know that toytec was down in Denver. Do they have a small front store to go pick things up?

I need to go get their 1" shackles. I got their 2" shackles on right now, I'm high in the rear. And also with their 2" shackles, they aren't gaped properly for the leaf spring bushings. Since they have a welded cross member making them fixed, there was no way to get them to fit around the leaf bushings so we had to shave down the poly bushings to nearly nothing to get them to fit.
installing the rear shackles took nearly half the day.

The "stealing" of ideas happens in every type of business. I work in the beverage packaging industry and all of the vendors copy each other. New technologies are constantly being pushed forward so there really isn't time to get patents nor do they want to waste the money to get patents.

I also believe its hard to get patents on things that are so simple in design. Not much uniqueness there.

You either got the wrong ones or possibly they were designed for factory springs and not Poly aftermarkets. It's funny cause typically you the opposite in aftermarket shackles. They are usually too wide.

    Sup assholes?

Only in this line of work will you get a call asking you to respond to a gas station where a lady walked in without pants on and asked for a place to clean up, then walks out and hitches a ride on the highway.

I dont know. There's barely any room between the shackle and leaf eye. I just think that their gap is wrong. even if we did use a different bushing it would have to be like a half mm on each side.

Hmmm. Can't say but they should make it right for you. They typically have great customer service. I want a set of Defined Greasable Shackles for mine next.

Yea, look at all the blenders being made out there. And coffee makers, and cars.

Now if you took the design and made it exactly the same and marketed it as your original product, that's not good. If you're gonna steal a design, at least make your product better, not the exact same.
