You guys have fun this weekend. I'm leaving for the mountains and the snow just started falling...

 

At Toyota getting the 100k done.

They found another fucking oil leak. Crank seal I believe. Oil pan is also leaking a bit, but it just looked like normal seepage so I'm gonna leave it. The crank seal I'm gonna return and have fixed.

 

what all are they doing for 100K and how much are they charging for it?

I would be willing to bet the crank seal is what is making the oil pan look like it is leaking.

 

The 100K is basically an oil change and inspection. Having the transmission flushed definitely makes the truck a little smoother. I ended up paying a little under $250 for the 100K and tranny.

Going back Monday to have the leak fixed. I personally agree with Jason and think the oil pan leak may be oil from the crank seal. Or just normal seepage. I'm gonna keep an eye on the oil pan and have them fix the crank seal.

Also, for anyone wondering, Toyota of Thomasville is excellent. Wanted hundreds less than Legacy (here in tally) for the same services and way more courteous and polite service than legacy. As far as dealers go, most pleasant one I've ever delt with.

I gotta get a picture of this bad ass fj someone has on base. It's a full blown crawler. Open wheels, Long travel. It's bad ass.

 

They are about a 1/2 hr from where i hunt in GA I pass by them every time I go up to hunt but haven't had a need to stop. Good to know its a good dealer in case I need something while I'm up there. That 2nd pic looks like a spruce mica & those LEDs I've seen on a xspx at a dealer here in Clearwater.

I watched a dude's cheap walmart, no-name compound bow come apart on him and the limbs smacked him in the head when he dry fired it....haha...I laughed.

Thinking about getting a flow master 40. Got a little extra money and figure it would be cheap to just get it welded in with the stock piping. Kinda worried about how loud it may be, anyone have one? I want a good tone and something aggressive but not obnoxious.

Finally got the filler piece under my headlight last week...Hopefully gonna take it to get painted this week.
