EDIT: I was just looking at those gears and I don't think the Yukons work for our rigs actually. You will have to call them or just look elsewhere for some Nitro gears I think. Nitro are what ECGS uses in their preassembled diffs for our rigs.

Check out JT Parts and Accessories. They are located in Cashmere, Wa. They're website is www.justdifferentials.com Get a hold of Carl. He is a good guy and is very experienced with Toyota aftermarket stuff and is the supplier for Nitro. In fact, ECGS gets their Nitro gears from him.

Not sure of the exact cost for R & P for your truck but I just paid $220 + $200 for an install kit (bearings, etc) from them.

Not always the case. We had a pretty good turnout for our Magruder trip last year.

Perhaps you just have to try one with peach schnopps in it.

Now that I've seen how the dash comes apart, it is far less intimidating. We had a lot of fun doing this. He is a good guy. I predict we will all wheel together some day.

Yeah, the stock speakers have never sounded this good. After playing a bit with the EQ, they are pretty good. They handled a lot of volume without distorting. Impressive actually. Could use a bit more thump tho.

 

well get some new speakers. An amp would help TONS. Then a nice 8'' sub

Thanks buddy. The truck drives awesome again and now it sounds good too.

Replacing the speakers is not on the list at this point. I have thought about a sub (and an amp for it) but have zero skills for building a sub box and all the aftermarket ones I've seen are either too expensive or tke up too much space or both.
