I really didnt want to trim anything. Plus I really only lifted it so I could get a bumper/winch. I went with 265/75R16 in Toyo ATII

I ran 265/75/16 duratracs on my old taco and didn't really feel much of a power loss and less than 1/2mpg loss. Currently running 285/75/16 duratracs on my new truck and loving them. Definitely can feel a loss in power, and anywhere from 1-2mpg's down depending on how hard i've been hitting the skinny pedal. Everyone makes 285/75's and though 285/70's are out there, there is less of a selection and you're still gonna have to trim. If you're concerned about power loss, just get a blower like me :burnrubber:

I'm in the same boat!! Debating on what size to get. I've been going back and forth, (16"? 17"?) 275? 285? every time I see one size or another! They all look sick! I think when the time comes either a 275/70/17 or a 285/70/17... Not much of a difference but I'm crazy when it comes to tires and rims and can't make a decision! Haha good luck and looking forward to seeing what you go with. (Check out the SCS stealth 6!)

By the way I didn't vote because I couldn't choose, I'm no help!

Depends what kind of tire you're getting. I have 265/75/16 Duratracs and I think they look good with the lift. Other 265's will look small.

265 if you don't wanna trim. 285 if your okay with trimming and a cab mount chop if you wheel.

lift is going on later this morning and a decision has been made, going with a 265/75/16 for now. I have stock 265/70/16's now and going to a 265/75 increases the diameter by about an inch making it a 31.65 X 10.43. Thanks to everyone who responded to the poll.
