Ok, so this next question is really out there however I got to ask. I had to take the wife to PA yesterday and while driving there and back she continually reminded me she can hear the road noise (more now since the 3" lift was installed) more than she could with my prior vehicle which was an 03 Chevy Avalanche raised 3" also. Just to give you an little info.. she has and still wants me to get another avalanche rather than the tacoma. So now for the question.. Anyway to deaden or reduce the outside road noise? I really dont want to turn the radio up but so loud lol. my guess is "it is what is" with the noise. Its really not bad however any help would help. Told ya it was out there..lol

There are a couple of things that make a huge difference.

    1) tires. Some are noisier than others.
    2) sound deaden the doors, floor pan, roof. It's a PITA but the difference can be huge.
    3) tell her to drive her own car. AKA trade in the wife instead of the truck....

I'm sure she means well, but there were reasons why you left the Chevy and bought a taco.

That ARB on CL is a great deal! it's 500 OBO - or best offer. Might be able to scoop it for 300.

    Look at mine Color Matched.

also, do 2nd gen factory coil springs fit 1st gens?
