dead flies in taillights?

    None yet- Future: HIDs, Tinted tails, LED interior lights,
    I know its not a big deal. The lights still work and everything but what I dont get is if the lights are SEALED nothing should get in them, right?


    How do they get in the light then

    none except for crappy hub caps and floor mats.
    Well... actually most of them aren't totally sealed. If you pull them off, you'll see a small rubber vent tube that points downward. This is supposed to vent the lights so if any condensation gets in there, they will dry out. At least that's how they are on my first gen truck. Pull em' off and if you see these vent tubes, wrap mesh around the opening or something. Problem solved!

    Looks like our trucks are more and more alike every day! I thought for sure that there was no way anything could get in there either....went out and JUST looked at my tail lights...by god, I have bugs in them! :D
