No shit... Speaking of trail grooming, the service manager from WFM just took me in the shop to show me how fucked up the skids are. Looooool. I told him its called "the trail groomer" and he understood.

My CV boots are starting to leak grease.. What can be done to fix that?

You're not the groomer anymore... You got all lifted, bigger tires and lost the cat catcher :)

Oh man i missed that. I did see the skier big air tho. Guys are throwing switch triple cork 1260s and even crazier stuff. Its amazing how much all those sports have progressed. I went to the xgames years ago when the were at mount snow and a 900 was outrageos for snowboarder big air. Now 10 year olds are doing those lol.

Well there are 3 things you can do to solve this issue. I list them in order of least expensive to $$$$$.
-Diff drop so the angles aren't so steep
-Replace you CV boots $17 for MOOG ones
-Replace the axles themselves ( I would go this route because do just the boot you have to pull the axle out ad then take it apart, I would also drop the diff at the same time)

 thats not good. Has anybody tried a double back on a snowmobile yet? That would be nuts.

No problem, it's Chris. I should be there around 430'ish, have to take my daughter to swim practice and then will head up from there. Would join you guys for a beer or two but I've got precious cargo coming with me (my kids), so no beer for me, tonight anyways but in the future I'm game.

Diff drop might not be needed. I say this because like the 2nd gen Taco, his 4Runner has a wider stance than earlier models, the angle of the CV joints isn't as bad as it would be on older Tacos and 4Runners. I know not everyone with 2nd gens use a diff drop, myself included. I've had no issues.

Agree with all of the above... But they do make 2 piece cv boots that don't require u to pull the axle. I don't recommend these to my customers. But they do work for a reasonable amount of time.

If it where me I'd be replacing the axle. I don't like the 2 piece they suck and its the lazy way to fix it. The one piece is perfectly fine, but pulling the axle and dealing with that I'd rather just do the entire axles themselves, easier, quicker and will last..Plus the warranty on the Napa ones covers ripped boots.

Alex just replace the axle . Rebuild the old one when you have time . Then you have a spare . Instead of paying a boat load of money for a tow . You can fix it on the trail . :D

Also I don't have the diff drop in my truck . No issues so far but I have a spare cv in my box if I need it .

Lift looks good by the way !

I will, but I want to save money now. I'm broke as all hell.

And I can drive in 2WD if the axle fails. Just take it out and have 3WD LOL

Hi guys...new to the forum..hoping you guys can help. I have a 2011 DCLB TRD SPORT. Love the truck. Hate it in the snow. I can turn off the auto LSD and rsca but that doesn't make driving in the snow any less annoying. I'm assuming that the abs is still active? Do I need to do the abs kill switch mod or is there something I'm missing? Thanks
