    :( hmmm...
I sent a reply, see what happens. I'd like to get a couple of test shots on it before buying it but I know I would have to get the shots on my computer screen to see the distortion. :(

From what i've seen in reviews, i've not been very impressed with the tamron products. I'll probably stick to sigma or canon.

    .
Which Canon do you have? If it's the Rebel, the D60, you're not gonna get the full 10mm from that, it's gonna be like a 14 or 15mm

she has the 7d which is still a crop sensor.

    http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=&sku=351542&is=USA&A=details&Q=

this one would be a true 10-22 for the crop sensor, but won't work on a full frame camera if you would ever upgrade.

I've owned this lens for about 3 years and have used it regularly. The lens manufacture code is UT1014, meaning that it was manufactured in 2005. Includes the lens, lens hood and front and rear caps. No case or tripod mount comes with this lens. Glass is in great shape and it takes very good pictures. All of the photos displayed at http://bigskyken.wordpress.com/birds-of-the-heavens/ were taken with this lens. If interested, send email to bigskyphotog (at sign) gmail.com. I will not ship the lens anywhere, however I do travel around the state frequently, so might be able to meet you somewhere. Only transactions via face-to-face meeting where we trade cash (not checks, IOUs, money orders, or anything else) for the lens will be considered. This listing will be deleted within an hour of selling the item, so if you see it still here, consider it still for sale. PRICE IS FIRM AT $1100.

Photos of this lens can be seen at http://billings.craigslist.org/pho/3434750418.html

IMPORTANT TIP: Because a number of people seem to have trouble reading and understanding the conditions of this transaction, here is how I see it working...If you want the lens, I suggest you get to a bank and collect $1100 in CASH and then drive, fly, bike, walk or hitchhike your way to Roundup, Montana, where we will meet and exchange my "item" for your CASH. It is really simple this way, and neither of us has to be bothered by foolish things like PayPal, escrow accounts, couriers, agents, etc. And if you happen to be off-shore for several months and are unable to personally attend to the transaction, then I suggest you contact me upon your return. Which would really be prudent, as you may fall overboard and not be recovered, in which case you won't need my "item" anymore.
