I have had a BB Curve for about a year, and love it. I mainly use it for phone and email, some texting. Email works great for me, and I am very comfortable with the keys. I do use the browser for basic stuff, but have found that it is not near as functional for browsing as say the iphone; BUT for my purposes I will gladly take the durability of the phone over the browser ability. My $.02.

I did not read every post so I apologize if some of this has been said by others: I have a curve and really like it but it is nearing the end of its production life and is about to be replaced by other phones like the bold and the niagara (check engadgetmobile.com) but the bold has everything the curve has plus wi-fi (the verison curve at least doesnt have wi-fi) and it is a little better looking. I would spend the extra for the Bold just becasue if you go back in the store in 6 months with a curve I doubt they will have any if anything goes wrong and you need service or a replacement where as the Bold will still be readily available.
Just my $0.02 but I usually only get a new phone every year and a half to 2 years so I always try to get the best one possible so at the end of the time I own it its not some ancient thing that Im the only one left who still owns it.

Also the Storm is a POS b/c the operating system still is full of bugs but if you can wait about a month they are releasing a wi-fi version with an upgraded OS thats supposed to be much better

Yep I had it for a week about 2 months because Im due for an upgrade and it seemed like the best phone out but it was really slow and kept freezing then when I took it back they said they heard that a lot and let me return it which is when the guy said the are supposed to have an upgraded wi-fi version in late June early July

Huh go knock on wood maybe you got a good one... supposedly along with the software update for the wi-fi ones there is going to be one for your phone too thats going to help smooth everything out a lot

Just because you didn't like it doesn't mean its a POS. Having it for two months means nothing...especially since there have been more apps/updates recently released for the current OS (AppWorld will be your best friend). I've had the STORM since the release and love it. Of course its not perfect, as is many phones out there, but it sure does do a hell of a lot and does it well.

Back to the original topic...I think that the Bold will be a better choice as stated earlier. The Opera Mini browser will help you a little more when surfing the net. :)

    Nothing yet, brand new!
I've heard and experienced first hand the freezing up. If the memory is low it will do all sorts of weird stuff. I had to move all photos to a card and delete unused languages. They need roughly 12meg free to function normally.
