I did the gage cluster swap and then ordered #74 led lights for the ac/heaters knobs but today when I had it apart they are not wedge lights they're the small twist in kind. Anyone know what size they would be ? I have an 03 tacoma

No they are not 194, 194 are what I used for my gage cluster and the AC/Heater bulbs are tiny compared to 194

On my 98 it was 74 for sure for the climate control bulbs.

When looking up 01-04 either on here, superbrightleds.com, TTORA, etc it says "instrument general: 194"

    :notsure:

Where in Hades can I find some of these bulbs... Just the bulbs, not necessarily the plastic socket. Mine went out in my 05 Tacoma's climate control & I did the LED upgrade... & I'm severely displeased. I'm trying to avoid the dealership at all costs. I want just the bulbs. Thanks!

I think the ac cluster bulbs on 96 to 00 tacos were #74 bulbs and the 01 to 04 were those corvette bulbs.. Wish I'd known that, I took the led out of the 74 and put it in the old socket. :p

I already purchased the C5 LED's from oznium.com & they're way too dim. If say they're less than half as bright as stock. I just want the stock halogen style bulbs. From the dealer, it's almost $30 for 2 shipped. That's entirely too much. Surely there's a source for a stock bulb replacement somewhere out there.
