I like that idea. Maybe he can give us a deal. Realistically having three of us would help significantly with removing and installing the shocks more than help the cost.

I'm going to Vegas this weekend and was hoping to see some desert time on my way out there. I've heard that you can go from Barstow to the State line taking Powerline Rd, and that its pretty fun. It looks pretty straight forward aside from one portion there doesn't seem to be any labeled trails or fireroads. Has anyone ever gone this way or have any info whether or not there are some good trails that connect that RED dot to the GREEN dot?

We did the powerline rd couple of months back there was a part that was really sketchy. I think about 5-10 mile to stateline that part was pretty bad I wouldn't go with only one truck just incase anything happens.

What about trying to stuff all that arch into such a short leaf?

Generally speaking, all the "off the record" firsthand feedback I've been getting says, go DMZ 100%.

The statement I made was very general sorry. Yes there are extremes, I have never had hands on with a defined kit.

As far as DMZ you really can't go wrong, Tim is a great guy and amazing fabricator, he knows 2nd gen tacomas better then anyone else I know of.

Well I'm not there to play during HDRA and BITD races. So probably not those unless you like long drives, early mornings, safety meetings and broken trucks.

MORE races are for fun though, so we'll probably see you out there.

I don't have any footage, sorry.

the arch is less than a typical 62 leaf pack and less than a few inches shorter. nothing is getting stuffed anywhere, if that was the case binding would be present . i worked alongside deaver to design a proper spring and it took a few attempts to get it right. deaver did the design work for the dmz kit as well . so it was all done right with years of experience behind the decisions.

the dmz kit is good , once you address a few issues. we race on it, but only after a lot of work to get it right as well.
but its not in everybody's price range . the initial price will be close but your looking at an additional 1000-1500$ just to install the kit if your not fortunate enough to be able to do it yourself, plus driveshaft mods. all that for an additional 1-2" of droop travel ? i dont know anyone winning races on the kit and lets be honest that dosent say much

im not attacking , im merely stating facts.
