Lord willin and the creeks don't rise, I'll be on the river Saturday for the first time in 2012. It was in Jan last year when my girlfriend's brother and I went and he caught a 28" rainbow.

    Late season meat run. Texas

I took my deer at 70 yards then 3 pig popped up at 220. I was able to get 2 but the 3rd run out of the lane so he got away. All with the trusty 6.8.

ygazu8yz_f453de14b22464d2c7e82664e53152c02972bdd7.jpgasses to elbows! The intent was all meat.

These 4 kills were in a matter of 5 minutes from first shot to last. My buddy heard my shot go and he shot his right after then my pigs popped up.

That's pretty cool. And for 30 bucks. Might pick one up for next season just to try it

Thought about it as well. I bought the rechargeable Thermacell shoe insoles this past season and my feet didn't get cold at all. I know handwarmers are really cheap, but after a few seasons these things could pay for themselves for $30.

I don't know what box has them rated as, but I get +8hrs out of these bad boys. Size of a cell phone (blackberry), have used them to start a fire when I got snowed in at one point.

They can work off normal camp fuels, Zippo fluid, most combustable fluids. So not having to worry about 1 more thing that needs battery's is noice!

I have 4 more days of winter bow. I need to see something, or the next grey squirrel is getting it.

Damn you! I wish our season was still in. It finally gets decently cold and deer season goes out

I didn't pay that. I found them somewhere online for like $60.

I see them in my neighborhood daily. Even an albino at the church on sundays occasionally. One was hit by a vehicle a few days ago. Still, urban archery, ummmm.
