of course...i had to get in a little "mini" wheeling :)

got it crossed up pretty good in this section

had a good ol time! impressions of the new FN were favorable...though my shooting really sucked. have not been practicing due to pricing/lack of availability of ammo. that is going to have to change. i didn't expect to do very well with the FN until i get aquainted with it, but should have been at least all inside the square with the Desert Eagle  i suppose it could be the result of a very late/early sunday night, monday morining...lol. but i'll chalk it up to lack of practicing.

i really like the FN. the light weight and uber-low recoil make it a joy to shoot. my Baby Eagle feels like a howitzer when comparing wieght. currently shopping for a holster for the five seven. with a quality holster, i could probably almost forget i'm carrying it...even fully loaded as opposed to the DE, which requires tightening of the belt to hold up.

it was,but it doesn't happen nearly often enough these days though. i hadn't realized that i've not shot any of my handguns in over 6 months prior to this outing. two years ago, i woulda buried all the .40's in about a 3" group from that range. ran into a buddy a few weeks ago at a Friends of the NRA meeting that i hadn't seen for a while and found out he now has a Dillon Progressive setup and he obliged to do some reloading for me in the near future. i gotta get more trigger time...skills are going to sh*t.

there are still some deals out there. the best i can find at the moment is 2000rds for $720 shipped. that is for SS197 with the Hornady bullet. the SS192 (if you can find it) is going for around $30/box of 50. i have only bought a few boxes so far as i have depleted my stash paying for the gun. i got a buddy who bought a five seven as well (his brother in law also just ordered one), and we're giong to split a 2000rd case as soon as i can come up with the fundage. i'm hoping this round continues to get more popular in the future. i would really like to have a bolt action chambered for it...it would make an excellent groundhog/coyote gun. maybe one day, if they aren't illegal, i can get my hands on a PS90 also...kinda goofy looking, but i bet it's fun to shoot. it'd be nice to have three different platforms shooting the same cartridge.

i'm edumacated....but being that i'm not in law enforcement or military, i sometimes use slang when i am conveying a thought, or experience pertaining to firearms. bullets=cartridges, mag or clip=magazine, pipe=barrel, the hole=breech, scope=optics...you get the idea. if i say "magazine" around here...people think Playboy or munitions dump. sometimes i even refer to a rifle as a gun.
