Corral Canyon yesterday in the rain....

Rain,rocks & clay make for interesting trailing......

done this a million times in both directions, piece of cake pretty much but its usually dry, whole different animal when wet...

this trail looks fun! how far is this from north county, san marcos? i visit my bro from time to time out there and would love to check out this trail!

 

From San Marcos I'm going to say around 80 miles one way probably a little less, depending where you are in AZ. It may not be as far as you might think, say if you lived in Yuma area you could drive it about an hour 20mins..

Cmack (Connor) came over here to hit up Corral canyon & loved it, he's in Flagstaff pretty sure..

Looks like fun! Water adds a whole extra level of complexity to a relatively easy trail.

 

Most def. A few guys have tried the ol' hit -it -with- some gas method only to bash & break shit on under carriage plus those rocks are shiny polished from so many trucks going up & down it

 

I've polished those rocks a couple times... Had done the trail easily with my stock truck and decided to go when it was raining, did not expect it to be that much harder, needless to say I was very surprised. Went back on the 26th after some mods and definitely noticed a big improvement.

I found the problem to be the smaller rock that sits in front of your rear right tire once your truck is aligned, it doesn't let you get enough momentum to actually hit the bigger rock in the front and go over it... You can see it in a couple of your videos, the moment my rear tire got over that rock, my truck just lunged up the one in the front.

 

Yeah pretty much, actually I used to go to the far right & ride the bank but theres not much of a bank there anymore so had to pick the best of the worse I guess, meh, finally got up it , just used to doing it the first time..

Nice to see another CC vet in here I go there as often as I can afford it, i like the slower technical stuff, single black diamonds are as far as I go with this truck (bronco peak/bronco flats/ maybe sidewinder if its not too chewed up, def. no connector tho'

 

Definetly wouldn't consider myself a vet. I've been there a bunch of times but for light trail rides along that outer loop only. Want to try the bronco trails but I was lacking mods... I should be good now, but don't want to go without a backup vehicle. Are these trails very rocky? I'm more of a baja explorer and I'm worried my lack technical driving skills will get me serious rock rash.

 

Oh yeah they're rocky & def. wouldn't recommend going without armor...

That rock is definitely too close for comfort haha. Seems like an awesome trail!

This is coming down Bronco Peak back when my truck was pretty much stock, its still pretty steep....



You should go to the socal region & follow the San Diego BS thread for upcoming runs Carlos, hit some trails with us..

nice pictures and videos. that white tacoma reminds me of my old 2006 but mine was an access cab. took that beast everywhere.
