Well…what is the most weight you guys/gals have had in your truck? For me it is 2800lbs! Yes…not planned..I went to the stone yard last summer and asked the weight of a cubic yard; their list had it at 2850lbs so I said OK…let’s do a half. I then paid for the half and drove over to be filled. Well the loader guy was at the counter when I asked about the full yard and assumed I was getting a yard…so he filled the truck up with 2800+ lbs of stone…holy crap it was a low rider. (huge mound of stone) I took it slow and had no problems; I live about 15-20 minutes from the stone yard. Anyone else in this ..hmm I totally exceeded the weight limit category and lived to tell about it?

    4T.

1700lbs. A bunch of pavers. I told the wife what the weight limit was and went to move the truck to the loading area. It was right after I got my Dakars and there was amazingly little sagging. I took it really easy and like you home was 15-20 minutes away.

2800lbs. is an ass-load of weight!

What is the weight limit of our beds? I'd say I've had a good 1000lbs in mine.

Over 2,000 pounds. Mine was unintentional as well. Bought too much shit at Home Depot and wasn't thinking about how much it weighed.

    10-80lb bags of concrete
    10-50lb bags if pavement patch
    10 bundles of roof shingles.

I have 2013 4x4 DCSB. The payload limit is a little over 1100 lbs. I believe this only considers 150 lb driver. Other occupants and fuel would further reduce the payload. Not sure what are the limiting factors. Axle ratings, suspension, tires? But I don't think it would be the bed rating.

Not in the Tacoma but my friend's stepdad's 80s model Isuzu Trooper: we were on our way going hunting, towing 2 four wheelers on a long trailer. Before we connected the trailer it was already sagging. Then, after the trailer was attached, it was really bad. We got pulled over about half way to the camp. Said we needed to turn off the high beams. (Not the main reason we were stopped (busted light on the trailer), but it was a good laugh for everyone.)
