Damn, not wasting any time I see. I was just going to use CRC Brakleen on the hard to reach spots, Dawn dish soap on the rest, then a wipe down with Isopropyl alcohol on a rag.

Ya the company has degreaser so I did two applications. I will hit it again with some alcohol to get the residual off. How bad does that bedliner spray smell

It's not terrible. Certainly no worse than any other spray paint.

I just bought and used mineral spirits (you would be surprised to see how much oil is on them when they come in). Did it twice. Used rustoleum auto primer that they sell at Walmart (very good stuff, dont get it on your hands) and did 2 coats. Then 2 coats of Duplicolor BLUE can of spray bedliner. You can do all the primering on one day and bedlining on another day and your done.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Yes that's what we use on tube as well it works great then we oil the hell out of them and they get dusty here in the shop. when we get the tube it's oiled to hell to prevent rusting. The oil we use is easier to remove and it really helps keep the rust off on the trip across the country.

Clean and scuff then prime and paint and you should be good to go. I painted mine with bedliner 2 years ago and it's still kinda holding I've never touched them up

replace the fuse anyways. Mine constantly do that. Fuse looks good but they work once I replace it.

You can test to see if you have power going to the relay at pin 30 and coming out of the relay at pin 87. If you do, then recheck your grounds. Since both went out at the same time, I doubt it's a bulb issue. Likely power delivery or a grounding issue. It sounds like the relay is functioning since you can hear it (and sounds like it's grounded also). How did you ground the lights?

I used the Duplicolor bed armor in the GREY can for my skid plate at first but once it gets dirty you can never clean it. The Blue can is so much better and look nice too. I recovered my skids and did the sliders with it.
    Jerry, how's the SAS going?

Nothing much. Back down in the armpit of america. Emailed ocean state crawlers per John's recommendation to get a quote for some sliders. CB got delivered today, hopefully no one decides to nab it since neither I nor the Mrs will be home until Friday:eek: Got a bunch of money in my paypal account from selling all the parts off my autocross/trackday car burning a hole in my pocket.

I'm not sure what the numbers are . But on the relay I tested the terminal going to the lights . Has power
    Power from battery
    Power to switch

Maybe both the bulbs blew . Which is strange .
Oh we'll ill have to check those later . Have to get to work now .
    Thanks .

Wow... I guess the only other thing I'd check would be put a test light on the ground side of the lights to make sure you have continuity across the bulb. Seems very unlikely that you blew both bulbs but I suppose it's possible... What size fuse are you running? Have you had them on for an extended period of time while parked or not moving (I know they can get very hot and I suppose could cause both bulbs to blow)? Lastly, do they rattle in the CBI bumper cutouts. If they're constantly chattering against the steel bumper, that could cause the bulbs to blow prematurely.
