How often do you wash your Tacoma?

Was going to today but go figure the time I actually want to wash it it rains in the dessert. It never rains here!

 

Mike's car wash Works weekly, till the salt goes away.

 

I picked monthly, but it's more like every other week. I used to religiously wash my truck at 4:30 every friday, but that was before owning a house and having a family.

 

I've got super white which hides light dirt pretty well. Last time mine was washed was Sept of last year; right before the winter. The winter where I live is very dry (no salt sprayed on roads and they are iced over) Next it will be washed will probably be May.

 

Well my paint is getting fairly pin stripped from those pesky branches but I wash mine usually weekly. I like a clean shiny truck on and off the trail. On trail runs I will also often be found dusting the interior. Any one rock mall shine? I like a black shiny finish on my tires when its summer!

 

every 6 months

 

about 4 times during the winter with salt build up by going to a drive thur wash. summer 3 times. The frist major wash is in May clean inside/outside. plus a fresh coat of wax after find all chip marks. then the final major wash is in the fall same as spring so I am set for winter.

 

Winter time more fir sure. Usually at ambulance bay. Pull bus out and put tacoma in. Heated garage and warm water a bonus or hot for pesky salt that doesn't want to come off

 

That's me right there with both my trucks.

 

I got it dirty on the 2nd day...

and it took me 3 days to get back to clean...

I did the exterior one day, the interior de 2nd day and the rest the 3rd day...

My detailer goes to my house every day but he doesn't get to the Taco after a few other cars so I guess it will be washed every other day

 

Every couple weeks, it really doesn't get dirty that quick.

 

Washing once a week now, to get the salt off.

 

Once a week usually. Washed it last friday night after getting back from skiing. It was five fahrenheit. The soap from the manual washer in the open bay was freezing to the truck before I could make it three feet away. The warm rinse water takes it right off though.

Drive a mile and then stop to open the doors. They are slightly frozen at this point, but not enough to keep them shut. Once they get opened at slightly frozen they don't freeze shut.

 

Gotta get all the road grime/salt/other crap off the undercarriage. Don't want frame rust!

 

Every chance I get. Which is usually once a month or so...

 

I wash it every weekend. It drives the wife crazy.

5-6 times a year. MGM looks better a little dirty.

 

It depends. I usually aim to keep it looking like a VC-25A. It really turns a lot of heads.

I prefer to do it myself, but I usually go to a touchless carwash for light dirt and a Washman if I don't want to do it myself. At least they don't use hand brushes there. Clunk clunk clunk, scrape scrape clunk.
