I wonder how the aftermarket and replacement parts are for that truck. Before I bought the Taco I really wanted a S-10 ZR2. The ZR2 was actually quiet a bit different with the frame and suspension than an normal S-10. Some owners had told me if I planned on modding that I would have been better off with a normal S-10 due to better aftermarket and easier to find replacement parts. Wonder of the Raptor is the same way over the normal F-150.

They're nice, but I think for the cost you can get a much nicer truck. For that kind of money, I'd rather get a diesel.

It would certainly be an original idea... I'm not sure Jerry would ever send any of his products this way ever again though

Ill have to test light the ground later tonight .
The harness came with a 20 amp fuse . I swapped it with a 20 but that didn't help
I hardly use them . Just at night on the back roads near my house .
They don't chatter in the bumper . Or come in contact with the bumper .
They worked on Sunday . Maybe something got wet with the snow I don't know ill end up taking them out and try to bench test them .

I use this to clean my skids and sliders before painting . You can get it at any auto parts store or Home Depot carries it .

Damn, that's a lot of juice! I'm using a 10A on each pair of my 520's (I believe they have the same bulbs as the 510's). The actual draw of the bulbs is only 9.2A. I hacked up the PIAA harness and did it all myself though. I have no idea what size fuse came with my kit

I am kidding obviously, i will probably do whatever is cheapest/easiest. If i put to much time/money/effort into painting them then i wont want to bang them off of rocks. i could see chrome sliders on that purple truck that daves best friend owns.

I think those are just chrome side steps. But maybe they are chromed sliders, it would just add to the bro-tacularness of that pile of poo.

    They're not 85W, it's just clever marketing.

PIAA's 510 Super White Driving kit features 55 watt = 85 watt bulbs and exceeds SAE standards.

It's a 55W bulb that they claim puts out the equivilent of an 85W bulb. It's a silly claim because power is power so wattage is really irrelevant when it comes to lighting. They're really only a 55W bulb though.
