Yeah I am hoping for some relief. Also, my current tires are 55lbs each, so I am hoping with the combo of smaller tread print, lighter tire, at vs mt, that I will pick up 1-2 mpg

My current tires are extremely loud, windows up and radio on, all you hear is wah, wah, wah, wah. Highway is tough, so believe me a little hum won't bother me.

I voted for the Toyo ATII's

I was going to go BFG AT's but decided I didn't need to kill my mpg with an LT tire when a P rated tire suit my needs just fine.
I have not seen them in person yet so I am not 100% but I'm about 85% at this point. I need more pics of them, I can mainly find pics of the Extreme ones that look awesome but the none extreme version is a little tamer looking.

I put some Goodyear Wranglers on mine at SAMs Club a couple years ago after the stock Dunlops wore out and instantly lost 3 mpg. I put BFG's on after they wore out and instantly got my mileage back. BFG's are wearing well and aren't loud.

Thanks for the input everyone. I really do appreciate it. Right now I am leaning toward the duratracs c-6ply. I think that will b the best all around tire for m based on opinions and why I've read online.

Just put on my p-rated 265/75/16 dynapro ATM's. Not any louder than stock tires. I've only had them on for a couple days but Luv them so far. I got a great deal on them so I couldn't pass them up. P-rated was fine for me because I just use them for normal street driving, snow, and every once and a while the dirt road. I did t want to take a hit on my mpg's.

Thanks for all the info. i thought there would be more said about the Toyo ATII's. They have a great 45 day/500 mile trial program and a 65k mile guaranty. I know everyone loves Duratracs, and they look great, but that Toyo guaranty keeps staring at me. And anyone w/ Dynapro ATM loves Dynapro ATM. And my friend loves Cooper AT3 (55k warranty). Don't forget the General At2's, never heard/read a complaint. I am guessing i really can't go wrong with any of these, I just have to make a decision and go with it and enjoy the ride!

Thanks Dorado. Your truck looks great, and sounds pretty similar to what i am ultimately looking for (except in blue)

DuraTrac. Surprisingly quiet for look. Rode BFG AT for 10 years and no worse noise with better look and performance in wet stuff.

They all look good. Id stick with your top priority which is MPG. Id find out which one is lightest and go with that.

    I don't see these tires in a 265/75r16 load range C,

I seriously am back to phase 1. I called my tire guy to order the Duratracs and he said they are overpriced, especially if its for highway use. He suggestedsticking w. P class or C loads in:
    Mickey Thompson Baja STZ
    Cooper STT Maxx
    Cooper AT3

Of course, I still keep looking at Toyo Open Country AT2. I will stop whining and hopefully this will be behind me by superbowl. I plan on doing some long road trips NY-VT, NY - SC, & NY -FL; (and possibly x-country in the Fall) so that is why i am weighing heavily on this. Not trying to be a bi#ch. Comfort/fuel are considerations

I love my duratacs but they arnt practical for highway driving vs other all terrains. Even though they are great offroad and look awesome i think your making a smart call by not going with them if you do alot of highway driving. I used to have firestone destination AT's, they were not loud and handled great on the road, but they dont conpare to some of the others you are looking at when it comes to offroading
