Help on Tire Size

    Guys i know this has been discussed more times than any one cares to think about but I just lifted my 03 PreRunner and i bought some 17 inch sport rims and I need some help deciding tire size I'm Stuck between a 285/70/17 which would scrub and i would need wheel spacers for at least the front or the 265/70/17 I priced a set of 265 Toyo ATs for 775 mounted and balanced and put on the truck but i need yalls opinion

    I'd go with 285's and wheel spacers to give it a meaner look. ;)

    Will the 285s throw off the speedo and mpg well way off anyway

    Yes they will throw the speedo off by a few MPH depending on how fast your going and you will probably lose a few MPG thats for sure.

    Go with 285s and don't look back or worry about the drop in MPG;).

    This is 285/75/16 which is the same as 285/70/17.

    I reckon its final then haha the 285s it is but my last question is will i need wheel spacers for all four or just the front since itll be on stock sport rims

    You could split the difference and go with 275/70/17. There aren't many options at that size but Discount Tire usually has 4 or 5 to choose from. And I don't think 275s will rub much if at all with a lift.
