Bumpers are overrated. If you need one to wheel....well then you got issues driving. Front bumper is especially useless wheeling. I only use mine for recovery of my stuck truck when I derp the herp. Rear bumper should always come before the front because it's the one getting smashed 99.9% of the time when you drop off obstacles.

Get some skids and your good to go. Fred wheels RC with no skids or sliders in his FJ and is perfectly fine. Just can't go all "tard" like so many do when they go wheeling there. I know people who are fully armored and smash their shit up and people who run the same trails with no armor and are A-OK. Some skills + right mindset + good people with you = priceless.

 That's right. I have done more damage to my truck with out leaving my own property then have done on the trail. All I have is a lift, wheels and tires the only armor I have is the shit the have bolted to the bottom from the factory. You just have to be a little careful not to fuck anything up. I do think my next purchase is going to be some sliders.

What do you need UCA's for? Don't drink the cool-aid like I did. They are not needed in some cases. I know a guy running 305's and 3" of lift with stock ones with good alignment numbers. I have yet to see someone break a OE UCA unless they were jumping. Also how high do you want your truck? Mines barely lifted at all. Clearance is key not lift....that's why I have more clearance then a guy with a 6" DB lift.

First thing you need to do is stop buying pu**y a** street tires :D

Here is what you need for $1,100.00 http://www.aitsafe.com/cf/add.cfm?u...eturn=www.wheelersoffroad.com/05upometaco.htm

My concern with that set up is the weight of the sliders skids and bumpers sagged the suspension what you think I also don't quite understand the difference between the different springs the 700 750 800 etc. etc.

Get aluminum bumper & 3/16" IFS skid. You don't need steel or 1/4". Prob solved.

I went with a solid steel rear bumper because I hit a fucking wharton "puddle" deep enough that my bumper hit the ground and jacked up one of my lights (which I was able to repair myself).

Once I pay off my truck I can start with the under armor.

So with this attitude, your basically saying fuck you north, I also don't expect to see you come down south? Right. At least I know there is an acceptable reason to you if I decide not to come to the south. :p
