Says you're an auto, so gears don't affect the speedo. 37's sure do though. haha

Gears affect the manual tranny's though. I have no idea why toyota did the 2 differently since both have wheel speed sensors for ABS anyway, but the manuals read speed from the Tcase and not the wheels like the autos do.

Good I imagine it would pretty much be a requirement for manuals. Digiratus has a 1st gen and just got his 4.88's put in. He is on 33's and said his speedo is now off by 88%. haha

yeah thats how mine is now, but mash the gas and you have basically no power. try towing something with it with stock gears. it sucks.

with 4.88s I tow a 10ft single axel enclosed trailer with two motorcycles while I carry a third bike in the bed. Still has some pick up but I cant imagine transmission would last long with stock gears.

its sluggish to say the least. normally pull a smaller homebuilt trailer with 2-3 dirtbikes on it. loaded down with gear in the back every time i hit a incline she starts beggin to be downshifted. im about to just man up and order them from ECGS and be done with it
