    Holy shit Mike! 88% huh? I take it 1st gens read speed off of the tcase.

    2nd gen auto's read speed off of the wheel sensors so regearing didn't affect my speedo.
    2nd gen manuals read off the tcase though which I find odd. Why not do both of them the same. Both have wheel speed sensors for ABS anyway.

    Yeah, there is a sensor on the output shaft.

    First time I drove it after the gear change it was like, whoa, there is no way I am going 70 mph. Checking it with the gps confirmed that its actually 62-63 when it reads 70.
