Whats the biggest sized tires i can put on the stock ... haha just fucking with you guys. Seriously, i was wondering about how much a lift (say about 1.5-3") could affect (affect/effect, made A in all my English classes and still never figured out the difference between these two) the performance of the truck as far as ride comfort and pick up in traffic. How do tires factor in also?

The reason for the question is that I have the 4-cylinder and it's lacking on the pick up. Should I just wait till i can afford the v6?

The lift it self won't hurt performance but tires will slug it down a little(depends on size and type of tire) I have a 4 banger and notice it on the highway in 5th gear. No to bad.

Without re gearing I would not go over a 265/75R/16 tire size with the 4 banger.

Cool might go with a lift then. Not sure is its worth it to just go slightly bigger on the tires though

The truck looks a lot better just going one tire size up. Actually 265/75R/16's will fit without a lift.
