Just under 140,00. Hopefully lasts to 200,000 with no major problems. Changed plugs and wires yesterday they were denso brand (oringal?) Anyway they looked pretty good (no oil, nice brown).

My 4x2 1992 toyota(5-speed-22RE) that I just recently sold and got my new 2012 4x4(5-speed-2.7), I spent a lot of time in my old truck, and hope my new truck lasts just as long... It had 617,000 when I sold it with a blown head gasket, it had orginal motor that had never had anything done to it.. I snapped these pics when it hit 600K..

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
37k last time I checked. All flawless miles, don't care much for the clutch in these things though, not very heavy duty at all.

I bought a old 5 speed Corolla second hand with 322K on it for $150,,put another 430K on it before it was sold again ($250). Only thing I replaced were immediate consumables and 1 starter in that 430. Had so much fun in that thing, wish I still had it. Had some true crossflow hemi small displacement motor with a individual tube to flange OEM cast iron header. The thing was a rip snorting little motor after I converted the OEM carb to mechanical secondary. A/C would spit ice crystals at you.

202,000 on my 2004 I purchased 2 weeks ago. It runs great, and I have no reason to be paranoid, but I'm a little worried about what might blow up soon. I'm a newb, so is there anything in particular that would wear out after that many miles I should be checking?

Pull the wheels and tires off and check brakes and steering/suspension ball joints. I am still on my OEM ball joints all around(191k), but I bought a surgical needle greasing tip when the truck was brand new to push thru the seals and keep those surfaces lubed. Crawl under and look for fluid leaks all about with the wheels and tires off and jacked up. It's really pretty much just keeping a eye on brakes and suspension/steering pieces when you get that many miles on it,,you don't want either of those things failing during motion. All the rest will show it's self when it wants to and it depends on how well the previous owner used, or abused the truck.

Give the motor a good 3-4 minute warmup before heading out, let those delicate slamming surfaces come up to a off-cold temp before loading them down. Maybe run your oil changes and chassis lube to 2500m, now that it has that many miles. I will go to 3000m pretty much all the time, then I will throw a couple in at 2500m. Since mine is getting up there, I like to put a hand on the OEM u joints and splined shafts to feel for slop before the grease gun does it's thing.

A 2004 w 202K has been ran down the road pretty steady. Just keep a sharp ear and a trained eye on things.

I have 768 miles on my 2013. I usually put about 5000 miles a year on a vehicle. Being retired does have it's benefits.

I'm up to 2574 miles as of 5-5-13....

I've got serious clutch slippage on my 2011 2.7L w/ 27,500 miles which is causing bad engine revs while in gear - Frustrating. Apparently I have the Mexican made LUK clutch which has been giving people problems. Setting an appointment at dealer . . . Luckily there is a TSB, replicating the problem for the dealer is going to be the issue.

I pulled a dead suburban up a tilt trailer and absolutely tortured the clutch. My brother had left the park brake on. Got it 1/2 way up before I smelled clutch and immediately let off. Still shifts just fine. I'm sure it peeled several thousand miles off of the friction disk. The one and only time I smelled clutch with this truck.

Was ready to chomp nails in two, couldn't believe he did that.:mad:

Feeling the slightest bit of play in the rear u joint, lotsa life left. all other drivelines and joints are tight.
