Yes, that stuff is the best thing you could ever use on something metal you wish to preserve as long as possible... They make a Chassis Coat also. The Chemical Bond makes it hold up probably stronger than powder coat. FinishMasters in downtown Richmond is a dealer, but you can order it a little cheaper I think from Summit.

    Nice

Think I'm gonna do sliders next..... I can weld ok, so I'll probably install them myself... Got my eye on the 78" TG's

Edit: Is there anybody around, or do any of you know of anyone else around that might be looking for a 1st Gen Bed Cap ? I want to sell mine. It's fiberglass and emerald green. I'm going to take pics of it and post in the FS section and on craigslist... Hoping to get $300 for it to pay at least 50% for a soft topper.

    Little trek from my place

I am thinking about some dakar leafs for the rear of my truck. Need to do something different because the tsb and aal is really rough even with weight.

the front been put together or you going to need a spring compressor?

I did mine when I had bilstein 5100 and eibachs and it wasn't fun at all. used a rented spring compressor from autozone and it was sketchy

I am thinking about PORing my new sliders. I have used it on older metal but nothing new I have cleaned with mineral spirits and scuffeed with a 3m pad. I have to put the primer on but my question is do I have to use their primer or will this be ok http://www.rustoleum.com/CBGProduct.asp?pid=37

sharpie mark alignment will do good enough, if i dont have the tires by then it shouldnt be too long afterwards anyway.

Not worried about alignment as long as it's somewhat close. I'll be getting new tires within a week.
