The other side of that holds true too. I hover around 200 but look much smaller compared to guys that weigh less then I do. Sean your weight always amazes me cause you look much bigger then the numbers say.

Went and did a few thrusters today...135 lbs. Then did a boot camp class with the CO Eagles cheerleaders. One was wearing a lacy white see through bra and small shorts with a G string....the things girls work out in and are nonchalant about.

Shes just sitting there stretching and her vag is hanging out...

2-3 Days a week for like 20 mins. Nothing super strenuous and you shouldn't do it on your lifting days. If you must, place a large gap of time between cardio and lifting.

No lifting for me. Bodyweight exercises - high intensity & high repetition + minimal rest time. My primary cardio is running, with lots of cross training (biking, swimming, ruck marches/runs). Working my personal workouts around PT for the Army is a pain, but it works out well as long as our PT schedule is fairly steady & predictable. I tend to mix in loose schedule like this (not including unit PT):

Monday - Interval running & upper body workout (Usually the "card workout" for those of you familiar with it)
    Tuesday - Fast 2-3 mile run with 2x 1 min of push-ups and sit-ups afterwards, followed by 3x 10 pull-ups.
Wednesday - 3-6 mile run (dependent on intensity of PT for the day) & a 30-45 min high-intensity bike-ride (15mph with max resistance gears)
Thursday - 2-3 mile run with swimming afterwards (warm-weather)
Friday - 3-5 mile run + full body workout (air squats, burpees, pushups, situps, etc.)
Saturday - 6-8 mile run OR 4 mile ruck run OR 8-12 mile ruck march

I also don't do red meat, fried foods, ice cream or sodas. That's really the extent of my diet. If it seems like junk food, I avoid it. I eat a lot of fruits, vegetables, eggs, healthy cereal and oatmeal, etc.

    Curious why no lifting?

Sounds like you took crossfit and took the weights out=all your workouts are cardio/metabolic conditioning workouts.

Red meat is an excellent source of protein, iron and natural creatine.

Well part of it is that I lifted 5-6 days a week for a long time and got completely burned out. I have also modified my workouts so that I still am able to maintain strength and muscle without gaining mass. My need is endurance, so that's what my workouts focus on.

Rucking with a 60lb ruck conditions my load-bearing ability and strength as much as my own purposes need. Being overly-muscular isn't conducive for the infantry, in that you require more calories a day to sustain and replenish energy. In the field, the big guy gets as many calories as the smallest guy. Big guys don't do as well with that. I can ruck and hump gear just as well, but can do it for longer because I work on endurance more. I've found that my size (5'10" and 170lbs with ~5-7% body fat) works out very well for both strength and endurance.

I do know that about red meat, but I still maintain my protein intake with chicken, eggs, etc. Cereal, chocolate, beans, and lentils are also high in iron - all of which I eat sufficient amounts of (Dark chocolate in moderation is pretty good for you).

So I'm about 5'11, around 130lbs and a senior in high school
My buddy is 6'2 and 210, we're both wanting to start working out and we'll be getting gym membershis in a couple of weeks. I'm trying to gain weight and put on muscle while he's trying to lose weight or turn that weight into muscle. My body fat is 4% and I eat about 5-7 times a day and can't gain weight :(. Y'all got any tips to accomplish what we want to? We have no clue of a workout schedule and we'll be getting some protein powder that my other buddy has been using (he's only been working out a few months and he's gotten huge). Thanks guys!

Depends on what you are eating... Try drinking a gallon of milk a day, only way I ever gained weight. On top of your normal eating.
