Last little mod for a while, I'm thinking front bumper, headlights and possibly a bit of the hood and door handle pockets.

    Likely around $350

    Pics to follow :D

Revtek 3" spacer in front 1" block w/ 2" AAL in rear. Blacked out grill, debadged (almost all done), Magnaflow muffler, black Konig Countersteer Off Road rims, 285/75/16 Toyo Open Country M/Ts.
First weekend I bought my taco I drove to central Oregon to go camping and was driving back home about 11 at night and a m fin BAT! ran into the lower part of my front bumper. Then proceeded to tumble around in my front driver side wheel well. Left some big chips on my brand new bumper. Good call on the clear bra lol.

A lot of time shops that tint windows will do clear bras. Look up local listing for clear car bra on google and you should have some luck. I need to get it done and the lower part of my truck so i can ditch the mud flaps.

You could do it yourself or find a dealer. Check www.xpel.com

I'll walk around the car and pick a few extra spots and get them done as well. This shop has done a few of my cars as well as a friend's SLR so they'll take care of me as always.

Sweet! I love those things, just make sure they taper the end (if they can do that) so you can't see it as bad.

I have some pics of mine. I have it all over the front, 1/3 way up the fenders, 1/3 way up the hood and on my side mirrors. I dont think i have any real close ups but you can barely see it.

In this picture the only place you can really see it is just in front of the grille on the bumper there is a LIGHT line

In this photo you can see it right along the edges of the headlight on the fenders.

    Been there on white.
Tough call on white because no matter what you're told,it's going to yellow a bit and be noticeable on white in time.
Especially in the hot sun of AZ.
Tough on white to keep those edges clean too.
Keep hitting the film with abrasive free wax or polish.

This is very true. Its going to be impossible to keep it from yellowing a little being that the truck is white. And you couldnt be more right about the edges being hard to keep clean...... i suppose theres not much i can do about that though.

Just keep on top of it the best you can.
Wipe away not toward the edges and keep the film waxed.Again, using a non abrasive wax.
You'll buy a lot more time.
I had a Ventureshield on a white Lexus and had the whole hood done so you wouldn't see an edge but edges were in other places.I wouldn't go with a clear bra on a light color again.
Especially white which is probably the worst color with a clear bra.

I've got it on my truck as well and yeah, after it rains you can get some dirt stacked up against where the film meets the various parts of the body. I try to keep it clean and while I can notice some areas if I look really close, from a distance it's not that bad at all. I figure it's better than the paint chips or minor scratches that would occur if the film wasn't there. Six of one half dozen of the other I suppose. Very tough to keep any finish perfect. I like the looks of the hood without the hood deflector, which is the main reason I got it done. Plus the additional protection it provides on high scratch prone areas.

Where all is it on your truck? Just the front or did you have it done on the sides as well? And how much did you pay for the parts you had done?

It's on the hood (covers roughly 1/3rd), front bumper, sides just behind the headlights, door edges, under the door handles, headlights, foglights, backs of mirrors and some on the rear fenders and bottom of the rear rocker panels. It was $795 installed in Canadian dollars. That was through the dealership so it's probably a little more than had I just got it done at a shop afterwards, but I wanted everything all taken care of before I picked it up so I just bit the bullet and had it done right off the bat.

For all of those that are interested here is a company that I recommend. I bought a complete kit for my Mazdaspeed 6 for around $400. If you want to install it yourself I recommend getting the installation kit. It is fairly simple once you get the hang of it. I have seen some that are installed wrong and look like crap.

    I hope this helps everyone.
