what issues did you have to address I was looking to get the dmz kit when I saved up enough for a couple reasons 1 the kit is going to be bolt on soon from what Tim told me the hangers shackles are going to have holes so you can bolt it on your still gonna have to cut off the old hangers and shit which means I can do most of the install since I don't weld 2 every post I've seen or from what I've heard it works great and 3 awsome customer service ill call him up just to ask questions even if it's not about his products because I know he'll be more than happy to help but I don't wanna buy something that's needs work right after too

That is true. im liking the price of the 5 tubes i just posted over those however. any particular advantage to a 4.0 over say a 3.0 other than being able to handle weight?

Then ends are bigger, bigger body for more fluid capacity and thus more cooling and most likely the shaft is bigger. Thats a pretty extreme shock and you likely won't see its advantages unless your racing...which if your asking i'm guessing your not. I'd save your money dude and buy a smaller shock.

Building it to race. Dont want to re-do anything like buy new shocks. Dont need to own a trophy truck to race.

Thats why I asked the difference between 3.0 to 4.0 and all was said was fluid? ok theres more fluid. which means they will run cooler. Is a 6.5K lb truck too light to push that much fluid? i knew 4.4" was a massive shock but was curious if weight was the reason for the large Dia or just fluid volume.

Where you gettng the 6500lbs weight from? Because that seems insanely heavy. Even for the race ready Tacoma.
