    loosen u bolts, whack AAL with rubber mallet, tighten/torque u bolts.

    How did that happen?
    Is something bent?
    Whack it--Not familiar w/2009--the 2003 AAL is TIGHT.

    then pound that mofo back in with a rubber mallet.

    Old Man Doug make spring retainer clips out of a couple bolts and some flat stock. If this is a concern, you can always make one of those. I went with the 3-leaf AAL, comes with it's own spring retainer :D

    mine would slide out every time I went wheeling, even if I tightened the u-bolts. probably could have used a retainer

    but it broke in half anyways haha
