    Again, most hd/lowes stuff is all plastic gears. Definitley for drills and hand tools, not 100% for saw, but I'm pretty sure there is no difference on tools. If your buying for short term use, by a shitty ryobi for $20 and don't expect much from it, other wise get a good tool.
