My dealer freebies are up on my 2010 V6 and I'm ready to start doing my own filter changes. I cannot find one thing in my owner's manual about the engine air filter. At the risk of sounding totally ignorant, what's the procedure for changing it?

Loosen the clips, open the cover, R&R the fiter, close lid, fasten clips.

Unfasten the two front clips, the housing will hing open at the front, then there are two curved tabs that fit into slots on the back corner. Gently pull housing toward front of vehicle and they should slide right out of the slots so you can change out the filter.

I had same experience for my 2012 when I replaced oem filter with the AFE pro dry. No info in manual and couldn't find anything specific on internet. I loosened the clips and still had little bit of a hard time getting off/on. I'm not mechanical so I start with "do no harm", if/when that doesn't work it's great to have resources from TW !
