MrTRD informed me that he wont make it this year either.. Complications with a family members heal is whats taking him outa the game.

For me to make it this year, I've got to get new tires. But I've gotta pay taxes first. There's an extremely slight chance I'll make it, but I'm not holding my breath.

Me too. I don't like seeing our CO brothers get left behind. I still hope you make it somehow. You could probably ride out with us or anyone else on here then just slut around in people's passenger seats.

 

Thanks. We'll see what happens. Might look into picking up an evening/weekend job to help replenish the wheeling funds.

 

Not sure yet but theres a chance my slut seats will be take up by well sluts.

Nice 4' fire stick just showed up. A couple more days and the rest of the gear should be here then bam CB is done, and i can check that off the list..

 

I might need a co-pilot this year. That would get you there on the cheap. Of course this depends on what the wife wants to do. She is not a camper and doesn't want to spend her B-Day camping. Her birthday is on 6/1 and I am debating on how much trouble I want to get in by not being around for her B-Day. Might have to cut Moab short this year and create some sort of hybrid Moab/Road Trip thing with her. Have a day or two in Moab for the event but move along to see other things while "hoteling" it.

 

Nice! Moab birthday party? 6/1 is my birthday too (which is why I'm going to Moab and my wife isn't giving me any grief about it).

But last year Moab fell on our anniversary so I kinda understand your dilemma. We took one of the days down there and went and did our own thing instead of running trails with everyone. Probably do that again this year on my birthday.

 

Too cool. Yeah just mentioned it to the wife. I might have struck a compromise.

 

Yeah and it wouldn't even be that bad of a compromise to just hang in Utah for a could extra days. Take a day or two to see arches and Zion with the wife then come back to do a few more runs with those of us who are probably staying a day or two after the meet gets over due to getting there a day after it starts.

i usually try to spend a solid week so i'll be down there a few extra days. though, i haven't decided if i will be going early or staying after all the shenanegans.

 

Stay after so we can keep shenaniganing together! My wife would love it if your GF came too... She is afraid there won't be many ladies to commiserate with.

 

oh come on girls love to go to moab and watch people try and roll their trucks. oh so pumped for patato salad.
