I looked at a 2.7 Tacoma today with the 4:65 gears and I have to say it have plenty of power for me. It went. Plus the Chevy dealer wanted to give me 19k for my truck. I said no way I want 20. They said ummm I think that can work :). So talking over with rents and will see what will happen

Yeah it is really nice and I like it. Paint could be better but for that year I can't complain. A can of touch up and I'm good. I'm super anal about the littlest things haha. I can't help myself

I had it for the free trial then they charge me, it was more than i expected so i cancelled. Its ok tho, you can still get free shipping on most stuff. My order was $35 for shipping, then i selected super savers shipping or whatever it is and it is free, just takes twice as long.

I haven't had an .edu email since 2007

Thats the one i just bought

hi lift is on my Amazon wish list, along with about 80 other things. But it's pretty useless on a stock truck:eek:

I haz this color. Not a fan of it honestly, but the price was right and new frame with a ton of new parts sealed the deal. Those wheels are nasty.

Lol at least you have a good platform . There's tons of parts for 1st gens and there so much cheaper then 2nd gen parts . If I knew I was going to get into wheeling I would of bought a 1st gen .

Jon, Bad idea less strength with 5 luggers. The axles would have to be entirely changed to a 7.5 diff. The front is a entire different ball game since no 4wd taco came with 5 lug with a axle up front lol. The only way is adapters and that's just stupid. You can run the 255/85/16 on the stock 16x7

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
All 1&2 gen stock 16" wheels are all 7" wide. Ivan's are 8". All stock 17" wheels are 7.5" wide.

On a side note. Anybody else have no power? I never lost power in the hurricane or ice storms or anything, but no power this morning.
