I just went and looked at mine, it seems there are 3 holes which we have to drill and 3 slotted holes on each slider plus the 2 up front that the double bolt piece go to... I'm guessing one of those holes isn't used otherwise we don't have enough nuts and bolts. Who the hell knows about the plates, I have 7 also plus 3 other nut/bolt combos and that double nut/bolt thing that came attached to the sliders.

Jess had Keene and St.Mikes also...they were in the top 3....Visits to ALL OF THEM...:p.....

My own fault....I drove while the girls slept and the trips always included "side trips"...

I would have to look BUT there is a GREAT hotel just outside of South Burlington that has Suites for under room prices...It is out in a field BUT dam it was worth the extra 10-15 minutes out...you will want a whole day to tour St.Mikes and the area...

The 1/2 a world apart just grew stronger....they will be here this summer and I might be introduced to my new son-in-law :)

So if we are drilling three and three slotted per slider that is 12 not ten

That's the conclusion I came to as well.

I'm guessing one of the slotted holes isn't used. Maybe depending on the year?

I am guessing that I will have a differant bolt pattern than someone with a short bed and the slotted hole is made just to be a universal plate

It's really not that bad, at least I didn't think so. A ton of signing shit. But, our closing only took like an hour, so all in all not that bad.

That's what I'm hoping. One of the plates has 2 slotted holes on 1 side, I'm guessing one of them doesn't get used. No idea about the plates though... I'm guessing use them on the slotted holes and the holes we drill should be small enough to not need a backer plate. If we fuck up one hole, we still have one extra plate :D

Try to do a walk through close to the closing. We didnt and when we came to the house after the garage door opened to a path through shit/junk to the door. All the light bulbs were gone the phone jacks were gone and the hole where the fridge goes was waste deep in garbage:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I did a walk through the morning of the closing. A few stupid things I was able to get a little money off for.

were buying from a family friend. guys an electrician whos wife is terminally ill, and he built her her dream house and they have been living in that for a couple months. no one is currently living in this house, and its appraised at 245,700, he offered it to us at 140000 so im trying to get into it as fast as i can. its a 4BR 2BA gambrel log home, on 2 acres +/-. we dont have to put shit down being first time home buyers, so this seems like its a good deal pending everything works out! it also has a brand new, 12k dollar heating system, which is a plus.

We called our realtor the next morning she came out and shit. She called his realtor and threatened legal action (our realtor was a friend and a lawyer:D). His showed up with a what is the big deal attitude until she saw the mess. She went outside and gave him all kinds of shit. His builder (he was building a house in town) showed up and cleaned the place out. 8 truck loads ( plywood on sides) later the place was empty and they paid to have a cleaning company come in

Sounds like a good deal. I love the looks of a log cabin but the little bit I know about them is they are high maintenance. I read somewhere you have to account for the logs expanding and contracting which will open joint or cause cracks
