    so 1.5in bodylift.......who says yes who says no?
    1 : i want the extra height to keep body away from debris
    2 : extra clearance for 35's=less cutting/rubbing/hammering
    3 : if i decide to get the fj case and clock it ill have room in the tunnel to do so

    opinions? i can lift my allpro bumper 3/4in up still so there wont be much gap and im hoping to get a wrap around bumper for the rear soon so i can have it built for the bodylift

    im very against big body lifts but small ones 1.5in or less is a big help in the tacoma/4runner platform...and at that height theres no safety issues

    i'd rather just built completely new body mounts for the front of the cab and tub the fenderwells. i might run a small BL if i were only crawling, but i wouldn't even truct a small one for high speed stuff.

    be mindfull of the fenderwells. i can take a picture tomorrow.....after our meet last weekend, i have rub marks on the inner fenderwells from the tire at full compression + frame/bushing/coil bucket flex. air time was probably the culprit, which wou won't have to worry about, but these are still just 285s.

    yeah, i'm not talking about the plastic, but the actual sheet steel that is one lawer away from being the firewall. sledge would probably work. if it's nto enough, you can just cut out sections where it rubs, and weld in concave pieces of sheet steel to seal everything back up
