dose anyone know if the rigid D2’s will fit in the fog light location on stock bumper? past week I have been in some very heavy fog and rain and also some snow that i could not see very far.(well not just this past week, but this past week has really got me thinking about it) fog lights did not do much at all. I have seen amber lights do much better in fog/rain heavy snow, and would like to get some amber D2’s. I would like to put them in stock bumper if i can. just to save money on buying a avid light bar for 2 lights.

I don’t want 3k HID’s! i don’t want to do a reto fit on the fogs, and i like how they throw/cast light every where and blind everyone, and i don’t think that would do any better in really heavy fog!

i think that there's another guy on here who made brackets and mounted them in the lower grille.

Dually's and D2's share the same housing

thanks. i found a pic of them in the stock bumper in the show me your lights thread.
yeah, looking at them more i may just get the Duallys. only difference is the Dually has 4 leds and D2’s have 6 total.

I may see if i could put them in the lower grill, and keep the stock fogs and put yellow/amber tint on them as well.

also i know most states have different light laws. i can’t find anything that says i could not use them. only thing i can find is no more than 4 lights ON when on the road. Can’t find anything that says that the light has to cut off after a certain distance or how bright they can be. i know people that have ran hella 500’s on the road and not had any problems.

yeah, depending on how bright they are, you might piss a few people off. i currently have a pair of procomp 130's, and when someone has their brights on, i switch those on. works everytime :D d2's will add nicely to my setup.

yeah i may. but if i see a car coming i could turn them off. would mostly use on back roads when it’s very very foggy, or late at night on the interstate. also i don’t think the ambers are that bad. i have seen them on atvs when out riding the rhino at night. the amber are not as bright as the white color.
