If you do ever order from them . Order from one of the other company's listed on there site . Prices are cheaper then trail gears prices .

Miguel, you'll like the silver and black look. My Colorado was black and I loved the color, even though it does show a lot of stuff. My Tacoma is silver and if I could change one thing within reason it would be black, but I don't hate the silver..except that it's the same color as wifey's Rav4 so it looks like we planned it haha.

But seriously, mine only shows a couple of scratches and they are through the paint so no shock to me.

Before my Tacoma I had 2 Chevys, 1 Cadillac, and 4 Pontiacs. If Pontiac was still around I would buy that brand again. The 2 Chevys and the Caddy were junk. I know it's all GM but Pontiac seemed to be better on quality and performance compared to GM's other brands.

I like a select few 6L GTO and WS6 and that's it. I would never own anything else from them. Speaking of them I did a water pump on a Pontiac Bonneville gxp with the North star i'd rather rub one out with a fist full of glass, i even had to buy a $50 tool that i can throw in the bottom draw

That's because the Northstar is a Cadillac engine.

These days yes. It was a good engine in 1993. 280~300HP and 300 torque. Mine got 16MPGs at best and ate anti-freeze though. Pain to work on.

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
I talked to a guy i know who builds custom boats, he offered to spray them with awlgrip. Im tempted to take him up on the offer, i would probably owe him a day of labor for it but it wouldnt cost me anything.

I've only washed them with soap and water to clean off the salt so far. I plan to wipe them down with mineral spirits on a rag, give them a light sand with some emory cloth just to take off any stubborn surface rust that the wipe down doesn't get (might have to use a wire wheel in some of the corners because of the plates), re-wipe with mineral spirits and prime. I hope to at least get them primed this weekend. I have a spray booth setup in my basement :D

I'm going to clean mine up later today. Unrelenting week at school so no time to get anything done... Hopefully have them painted and mounted this weekend.

What did you buy? Only thing that turns me off about Trail Gear is they are made in China. Then again the OME lift I want is made in like Indonesia or something...

Trail gear is made in the states . I met the head honcho last summer at rausch creek . He said everything is made in the USA .
