So what is the black sticker for on the driver side up high left on the front glass?

Ask at the shop and was told it was a tracker for work in the shop and warrenty for scan tools????

I just want to pull it off, is there a problem? Do they need to be able to scan it or something that it can be moved or just removed?

    What say you?

I think it is just a build or shipping info strip but the dealer said different, not going to trust them have never seen them use it.

That allows the satellites to communicate with the black boxes so the feds can track your every move. Removal is punishable by indefinite detention under the Patriot act. Be a good citizen and leave it alone.....

I've got it too on my 2012. I bought mine off of a used lot, just assumed it was something they had put on it for inventory tracking. Haven't gotten around to figuring it out either.

I wish I had taken a pic of my old car that had one. It just looks like a barcode same as you'd find on a box of cereal (the old straight top to bottom, not the ones that look like an inkblot now).

My truck is black sticker free so I don't have to worry about the Black Helicopters tracking me. The medication is good though, cherry flavor.:tinfoilhat:

My entire truck is black, but its night and I can't see it to tell if its painted or just covered in black stickers....

Seriously though, it's not a factory thing or we'd all have them. If you want it off, take it off.
