    Yeah, you gotta figure it is being sold for some reason. It may be because of issues.

    I guess that is always the risk when buying used. :cool:

    Not sure if you want to try this or not :rolleyes: but go down to the camera store and try on a canon 10-22. I do not have L glass but this one is the best seeing glass I own. Worth the $700 (new) price tag.

    Canon does not have any L lenses in the EF-S mount but I've read that if they did, the 10-22 would be an L lens.

    I checked to see if the local shop had the 10-22 for rent so i could try it out over a weekend, they do not have it. They get a lot of trade ins and such and I'm on the waiting list for the 10-22 and the 24-105. If they get one of those in then they call the people on the list before putting it up for sale in the store. They check everything out thoroughly and I trust them to be fair...that's where I got my 100-400

    Congrats on 5K...you'll catch up to the rest of us someday :rolleyes:

    You should check it out. If you have netflix its got three seasons(is aesome) and then a live action movie (which sucks)...a lot of cool physics stuff and real world technique when it comes to street racing/drifting.

    Nahhhhh :D there is more then just an intervalometer. WAY more. Some nice stuff. Can put a simple croped sensor DSLR up to HDR standards..

    just go to their site man. Its freeware. You just DL and install it on an SD card.

    Not sure if a 30d is supported though you'll have to check on their site.

    also two girls i had the pleasure of knowing that attended my school last year that are from TF as in american idol! they are sisters. Very fun people and very good singers. Will be interesting to see how they do.

    Well, any time you flash the memory there is a risk of losing all programming. If that happens you are SOL.

    it doesn't flash the memory. the canon stuff runs on the ROM of the camera. ML runs off the SD card. You have to have the SD card in to boot ML at all. If its not on the card..doesn't boot. And it doesn't override the Canon fireware.

    Yeah, not safe for mall camping either. Not recommended to sleep within 500 feet of a food court.
